Lou Dobbs had himself quite a story tonight. I grabbed this shot with my phone at the gym (click through for the full-size image):

Flow of heroin and cocaine stopped!

That’s right. The flow of heroin and cocaine have been stopped. That should come as quite a relief. Billions of dollars saved. Bam. I could have sworn that drugs won the Drug War years ago. I could be mistaken.

Memo to Lou Dobbs: By the time you aired this story, the flow of heroin and cocaine had resumed again. Sorry to be the one to tell you.

Joe Gerth’s story in the Courier-Journal today covering last night’s debate mentions neither gambling nor casinos. An oversight? I didn’t see the debate. It seems clear, however, that both Fletcher and Beshear understand that their fates are beyond earthly intervention.
